I'm using XP, too. I really don't want to switch to Vista.

hey ella..i also use windows xp..lighter i guess compared to vista...actually my bf uses vista in his laptop and i dont like it..in lay mans term its too slow i guess coz of its the new OS and lots of drivers installed that it become overcrowded and need that your pc or laptap must be the new model too to pair with it..just my opinion not really good in technical thing....anybody knows the real reason?

I use XP on a lower end system particularly a rig that has less than a gig of ram. I find it funny because the first time i used XP i only had 128mb of ram and it was buttery smooth (5 years ago that is)

I have XP installed on my 6 years old computer. it has 256SDRAM 40gb HD, and still running smooth. I still use that computer even though I have two Vista powered core duo machines.

The new SP3 for me is really slow. I don't know why but back in the day XP seems to work even with less memory installed.

Win 7 can really turn the tides of the misfortune of Vista. MS really is pushing their latest OS and are even reported to be good on latest netbooks.

I plan on leapfrogging Vista if at all possible. i've upgraded my RAM from 512MB to 2GB to make it easier, but there are a lot of shiny new toys out there that I'd love to sink a couple thou into
