I just want to know how you clean up your motherboard? And how do you clean the memory slots, etc...is it ok to use an alcohol?

I only use brush, air compressor and a vacuum. never did try to put any liquid on my board.

Ah ok...some of my friends used alcohol, the 70% solution because it easily evaporates, i don't know, that's what they say.....but i've never tried it...

Mobos can even be washed for the really old ones if you want to ressurect them. It takes 2 weeks drying time though.

I've used the cans of compressed air to try to get the dust off my motherboard.

I'm a little surprised at how expensive those can be. Does anybody else here use them?

Alcohol on silicon is fine. Due to its metalloid structure, silicon is nearly bulletproof.

I use 92 percent alcohol, when cleaning boards.It works great, and cleans to the latter.

i don't personally clean it..don't know i guess..i had let or hire somebody do the job..much safer i think..
