Default What's your RAM size?

I don't know if my terminology's correct, haha! Anyway,

Mine's 504 MB. Pretty slow, I know. :(

I think you mean 512mb, wow man???? I haven't seen that in years. The standard now a days is 2 or 4gb. I run 4gb on my Vista machines, anything more is overkill unless your running 64bit

Yeah, 512mb is pretty old. I recommend you upgrade that to a minimum of 2gb if not 4gb.

I had 1gb but I recently upgraded to 2gb. You should at least have 2gb.

Haha! I know I know. I checked Properties of My Computer and it says 504... :(

My laptop's 2 years old, that's why. :P

I'm thinking of buying a netbook soon anyway so that might have a higher RAM.

My cousin's PC has a 383 RAM, it would even temporarily hang when he tries to open a.pdf file.

I think the physical RAM space available would be 508 Mb because the rest 4 Mb of the 512 Mb would be committed for important logical operations. I am now currently having 2 Gb RAM memory and it is quite fast when running multiple programs simultaneously.

Wow! Even though mine's 512 MB, I can still do a lot of work, though. But I have experienced working on a PC with a 64MB RAM. It was frustrating.
