Default Limitations of a Notebook!

Hi, i never used a notebook yet, im just curios, im quite sure that it has limited features compare to the usual laptops...any idea guys?

It lacks a lot of enhancement features however they are good on most cases. They are simple, portable and are light to use. However except for the size and resolution I don't see much of a big difference in its performance.

I'm not sure about the newer laptops, but I think the older ones were limited if you planned to be working with large files like audio or video clips. I assume as time goes by, that will no longer be the case.

As for surfing, word processing and handling email accounts, I've found no difference from my desktop aside from having to get used to the smaller keyboard and touch pad instead of a real mouse.

Obviously you could add a larger keyboard and real mouse if you wanted.

So desktops and notebooks are alike in hardware performance? But laptops cannot upgrade their hardware as opposed to desktops right?
