yeah you still need to use firewall and if your os is windows Xp its there included in the programmed itself.. and its for you to decide to turn it off or not.. i had been using deep freeze and so far so good..been using it for a long time now..but sometimes i forgot to save my files in D.. that when i turn off the pc..all my files was all gone
