Default Which set of RAM will make for a faster computer?

I am researching laptop computers and was wondering if 4 Gb DDR3 1067 MHz or 6 Gb DDR2 800 MHz will be faster. Assuming all other parts are the sameThe 4 GB of DDR3 would be faster. You would never end up using the full 6GB unless you are using something like Photoshop CS4 or using a RAM intensive game like Crysis. Even so, they faster core speeds of the DDR3 running at the 1067 MHz is gonna give you a much faster Performance rate than the DDR2.
