Default How much is too much?

If you are considering in buying a new HDD, what size do you want it to be? 1tb or just 500gb? As the platter based storage systems for the pc are dirt cheap these days, I really would consider buying a terabyte of storage. How about you? what size would your HDD would be that meets your budget range?

Considering that you could probably use the drive for a long-term storage, I don't think a terabyte drive would be too large.

I recently stopped backing things up with CD-Rs and bought an iomega external drive.

I'd say 1tb of storage and a DVD writer for archiving and you're all set.

1 portable TB is 125$ so its pretty cheap, i say, i would buy of course the TB cause i need as much space i can get , i still remember when i had my 300GB and i had to delete some of my shows cause it was 99% full , and it wasnt really nice to do that , if i had money to spend on that i would buy the 1 TB
