Power fluctuation. You ever notice how the lights dim sometimes when you plug your computer in? Same concept. If the power fluctuates and something connected to the computer via USB dims, it causes it to lose connection then regain connection. Or at least this is what I have discerned by watching the computer next to me return from sleep when the mini-fridge turns on...

you are very observant!!no i haven't notice it..if so then does it mean that it will cause some kind of damage to the pc?
