Ear Buds or Headphones?

I know a lot of people use ear buds, but I've never liked them. The last time I tried them, I had some problems keeping them in place and I didn't want to shove them into my ears any further.

I have a great old set of AKG headphones, and a smaller inexpensive set of Sony headphones I use.

At comparable listening levels, do you think that ear buds would be potentially more harmful to your hearing?

not using it either..since i am not really fond of listening to music while i am in the computer..
