Laptop Sub-category?

I was wondering if mods can get a laptop category for other users wanting to talk about their mobile computing. Just a thought anyway

That would be a great idea. I think it's also good to add some PC tips, tricks and tweaks category and a MAC computer category.

Maybe a lot of users will post on that. Because you know a lot of people use a laptop nowadays.

noteboooks are generally smaller, go to about 13 inch screen size max, have lesser cpu and memory horsepower and hard drive space and have less run time and smaller batteries

they are desgined for light use and thus are lighter in weight than a laptop

they are also pricey

there is also a new sub category of "lite" books which are even smaller ( typically 9 inch screens ) and really stripped down on cpu speed and memory and drive space ( some use solid state memory )

some are really cheap ( think disposable ) and some are out right pricier
