CRT or LCD
Which do you think is the best type of display hardware. For me I would go with LCD on most cases however when it comes with hard use I would certainly choose CRT ones. If you are living in a cool place then I don't think CRT would produce that much amount of heat.

I'd use LCD, because CRT monitors take up a lot of space. :/

I also use LCD monitors. Ever since I switched, I don't get sore eyes anymore, hehe =)
CRTs are eye sore for me, hehe =)

I am still using CRT monitor because I have no budget to buy a LCD. I am planning to buy one this summer, any sugggestions? LG or SAMSUNG or ViewSonic? What can you recommend for a P10,000 budget?

LCD is great for space but i miss the real image quality on CRT's. Only the higher end LCD's have the same quality but i don't have the money to buy for it.

I dont even think I've seen CRT monitors in the stores for a while now.

No contest for me  .. LCD all the way... LCD doesn't eat up space, lighweight, less radiation, and much of all consume less energy

I highly recommend Samsung... Samsung is much more durable and more energy efficient. is that on Philippine peso? you can avail a 19" widescreen LCD for a price of Php 7,000 to 8,000 ($177)

LCD for me. I agree with slavezero, LCD less space, less radiation, less energy consumption. you can actually save more using lcd monitors.

stores still offers crt monitors, but it will not take long before it gets phased out.
