Default Computer Keyboard ?

DSC_0087 - Version 2
A computer keyboard is a device used to communicate with a computer. It is set up in the same format as a typewriter. Keys on the keyboard can be used to give the computer commands or to produce letters, numbers or symbols. Computer keyboards may be connected to a computer through either a PS2 connection or USB. Wireless computer keyboards give the user flexibility to move around without having to mess with wires connected to the computer. Generally these types of keyboards communicate with the computer via an IR receiver that is connected to the computer.

The moderm english keyboard is designed to SLOW US DOWN!!! When manual typerwriter keyboards were keys that flew up to strike the paper, if one typed too fast, the keys would jam up., So they made the qwerty keyboard to make people tyope slower.

They arranged it also so that demonstrators could type the word typerwriter using the top row only.

When the time came to choose between the qwerty and the much more efficient Dvorak keyboard, the US Navy went with qwerty and we have been stuck with it ever since.

The Dvorak has all the vowels and common consonants together allowing one to type faster with less carpal tunnel problems.

I think keyboard is a big help to a computer since this is our way to communicate (by typing of course) and to work.
