What are the available types of case modding, and the common ones, that are suitable, with the current technological advancement.

there's what is called window mods, whereby you have window placed within one of the panels of a computer case, and they come installed, in most cases.

You can use cold cathode lights (CCL) or electroluminescent wires light, to do light modding, in or on the computer cases

A common way of modding, usually done by amatuer modders is spray painting your case, to distinguish your work from others.

You can also do automotive paint, and other finishes, whereby you do your painting, like the paints seen on cars , by use of compressed air sources.

You can use peripheral mode, whereby you paint your peripherals, e.g. Keyboard, Mouse, Speakers, to match your computer.

Some people build cases from scratch, and others make it into work of art, and others make it appear to be something else. This is referred to as case building.

Component modding also can be done, whereby you do modifications on PC components themselves, like relocating buttons on an optical drive.
