I don't have 5.1 audio on my computer. I don't even have it for my stereo connected to the DVD player. I notice in Cubase that you can mix to that format but I don't necessarily plan to go for it.

Does anybody here have it on their computer? I assume it can be pretty good for gaming...

Oh yeah i do, on my desktop, it's just awesome especially in drving-type games like nfs, it's simply about 50% moore enjoyable with 5.1 than without it , just awesome , it's one of those things that you can't learn about , you must feel it , and if you do buy some in the end , install them 5.1 the big in front right front left front left back right back not just all of them in one place like alot of people do,mine are genius , but i dont think it really matters the brand 5.1 it's still 5.1

Is it better to use than the modified one? Does it have nice surround?
