Well yea , AMD did fall behind intel lately , but i think it's been alot of time since AMD got a new overcloacking record with Phenom 2 that is known to be the #1 quad core procesor in the world right now.Well i myself had about 2 intel processors and 3 AMD's , and i can say i liked the AMD's moore even if the diffrence between them isn't very noticeble at first in overcloacking the AMD's work better, and as for the cooling issue, normal intel procesors work at 20-30 C Temperatures while AMD goes upper over to 60 C , my last AMD procesor a 3500+ Athlon worked just fine at 113 C but after 120 it shut itself down , but it still work after it cooled down, even if its max temperature it has been declared around 60-70 C, while my Pentium 4 Intel 2,99 gHz got toasted at 50 C and never worked again, so from my own experience i can say i preffer the AMD's over the Intels
