If it's an old style mechanical mouse (with a ball), take the ball out and use your fingernails to scrape the gunk of the rollers.

For the keyboard, use your vacuum cleaner. If you have attachments, all the better, but as long as you have a hose and hold it close, you'll get a lot of stuff out.
